WORKSHOP STYLE TRAINING DELIVERED IN-PERSON

In recognition of the PBS network alignment in Victorian and New South Wales. Victorian Department of Transport, Transport for New South Wales, NHVR, Advantia, Mass Management, V-DAQ and BTT Engineering are running workshop information sessions to provide industry with the insights, knowledge and detail for operating successful PBS operations in both Victoria and New South Wales. These seminars are designed to get you up to speed on PBS, current PBS Networks and PBS Access and what is next PBS frontier in Victoria and New South Wales.

The PBS Seminar’s will be led by Advantia, Mass Management, V-DAQ and BTT Engineering will include keynote presentations from Victorian Department of Transport, Transport for New South Wales and the NVHR at both events.

Attendees will be guided through the journey of using PBS, starting from project inception, to getting a PBS assessment, to getting PBS vehicles on the road. You will know the steps that you need to take, who you need to speak to, and when you need to get other parties involved; you will be given the awareness to make the most effective use of your time and resources when applying PBS to transport applications.

Attendees will also be given clarity on the three main areas of PBS:

  • Assessment – making sure the design works
  • Certification– Making sure the as-built vehicle matches the design
  • Access – getting access to the road networks

AT THE END OF THIS COURSE, ATTENDEES WILL HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF:

  • The advantages of using PBS
  • How to avoid the common pitfalls in PBS
  • What is involved in the process of using PBS
  • New generation PBS combinations
